I designed a complete Design System from scratch for two major products that previously lacked visual consistency.
- Existing interfaces audit to identify recurring needs in components and design patterns.
- Creation of adaptable UI components for both white and dark modes (design tokens, Figma libraries), tailored to the specific needs of each product while ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
- Set up clear and structured documentation to ensure smooth adoption by both tech and design teams (naming conventions, best practices, usage variations, responsive behavior, etc.).
- Closely collaboration with developers to ensure accurate implementation and strong alignment between design and code, with regular syncs and follow-ups. Used Storybook as a shared tool for development.
- Set up workshops and regular design rituals with product teams to continuously improve the system based on real feedback and evolving business needs. Management of versioning and system updates.
